    Hay graze horse feeder

This is such a brilliant product. It has stood up to my 2 year old horse. He has stood on it, tried to tip it and it has held up brilliantly. It is very easy to use and I've gone from hay being dragged through bedding , to virtually no hay on the floor at all. So much less waste.

Does what it is supposed to. Although our naughty youngster manages to tip it over and pull out the thing holding the hay down

Superb product, I use it to feed a horse on a sand pen who lives out. Hay nets gave the wrong angle and had too much wastage on the floor, there’s barely no wastage, it fits a whole large section of haylage in and has them eating at a better angle I will buy more

    Hay Grazer

Really Good, Stops hay wastage and also stops my horse from eating his hay too quick.. He did tip it over a couple of times so i just put a concrete slab in the bottom of it and that stopped it getting tipped over. I actually bought two of them. So glad i bought them they are well worth the money and really easy to use.

These are brilliant the best investment ever. Easy to use, can move them round to stop ground getting poached. Have weighted them down with a paving stone, we are in a windy place. No wastage of hay at all

I use it in the field , holds loads and 3 horses can share easily . Cannot rate highly enough .

    Once the realised....

Great idea and sturdy construction, just a minor 'tweak' needed to get the sliding top to move without a major wrestle/jammed fingers. Works well - well, it does now that the greedy Connemara has finally realised that when he tips it over (I mean upside down) then he simply goes very hungry that night!

For the smaller horse or pony then the holes in the crate are ok , but for larger horse's they need to be bigger.

Absolutely brilliant product ! Yes the rubber tie came off but the ponies don't try to get lid off & I don't think they could any way ! Would be good if there was a lid to cover it when not in use . I have made o

    Horse grazer

I like this product as I can save the bits of hay he can't get by removing the tray top without filling up a haynet which saves time and give it to him that way. The hay is all contain so doesn't get muddy.

Very good - but needs one tweak.

Posted by Unknown on 13th Mar 2018

We have only used this for a few days and it seems very good.

There is one thing however that is poorly designed.

The lid slides off the box horizontally. When in place the lid is secured using a thick rubber band which passes through a hole in the lid and a hole in the box. As soon as you feed the band through the top hole it kinks and it takes ages to feed it through the bottom hole. Not great when you're in a rush and have cold fingers.

I'm not sure why they didn't supply a more rigid bolt or something similar.

There are 4 of these on the yard and everyone else has lost or replaced the rubber bands with bale twine etc.
