I like this product as I can save the bits of hay he can't get by removing the tray top without filling up a haynet which saves time and give it to him that way. The hay is all contain so doesn't get muddy.

Very good - but needs one tweak.

We have only used this for a few days and it seems very good.

There is one thing however that is poorly designed.

The lid slides off the box horizontally. When in place the lid is secured using a thick rubber band which passes through a hole in the lid and a hole in the box. As soon as you feed the band through the top hole it kinks and it takes ages to feed it through the bottom hole. Not great when you're in a rush and have cold fingers.

I'm not sure why they didn't supply a more rigid bolt or something similar.

There are 4 of these on the yard and everyone else has lost or replaced the rubber bands with bale twine etc.

We bought a slow hay feeder for my daughters 16.3 Warmblood who due to a torn tendon is on 6 months box rest. We wanted to slow down his hay consumption as he has had gastric ulcers so can't have long periods without food. The Hay grazer is a godsend it means we can fill it and keep him occupied as well as happy.
